16 AugClipping from the August issue of Greenwich Visitor newspaper.

Sax player wanted
19 AprRonnie Ripple & The Ripchords are looking for a sax player to join our high energy rockabilly/rock’n’roll/skiffle band. If you’re interested, have some experience of playing in a band, and can rehearse with us in East Greenwich on a Monday evening on a reasonably regular basis, then get in touch! We’ve played pub gigs, private parties and community festivals, and are looking to do at least a gig a month, around south east London and surrounding areas. We’re looking for someone who can play with a bit of swing, play some riffs and take some solos; Big Joe Turner, JD Mcpherson, Elvis, Cash, Cochran, etc, etc.
To find out more, call Neil on 07545 281 009 (after 5pm), or email: neilclasper [ at ] gmail.com
